There’s nothing quite better than when an unassuming eatery takes their menu seriously.
Situated on the High street and less than four miles from Birmingham City Centre, The Plough Harborne has gained itself a reputation with locals and travelers alike, and rightly so.
Favoured for its modern, quirky interior and quality menu (this place is particularly known for their stone-baked pizzas) diners can expect good food in laid back surroundings that are a far cry from from your usual inn.


But good pizza and quirky interior aren’t the only things that this place has to offer. Visit them for a sweet brunch and try their short-stack of pancakes with blueberries (pictured above) or the coconut and quinoa porridge with blackberries, figs and roasted pecans. These dishes alone are worth the visit.
If you’re venturing out past brunch time, they have a vast choice of mains to choose from that are a guaranteed hit, such as their prosciutto pizza with sun blushed tomatoes or the beef cubano – a cuban sandwich packed with beef brisket, figs, guindilla peppers, caramelised onion, swiss cheese and mustard.
Food is served from 11am til 10:30pm Tuesday to Saturday and 11am-9:30pm on Mondays and Sundays. Check out the rest of the menu here and keep an eye out for their daily specials for something a little different.
